A unique steel and glass design orientated towards the views of the gulf from the water’s edge in Bucklands Beach. Our clients wanted unobstructed views and an iconic design that would become a local landmark.

The 10-bedroom, 11-bathroom house was designed with an element of playfulness, as it also acts as a homestay for German students. It has a large entertainment lounge that includes an internal swimming pool, snooker table, glass floor footbridge and state of the art theatre. A reflecting pool surrounds the main living area of the house, which along with glass floors to the dining room and cantilevered edges, creates a sense of lightness that allows the building to float in the landscape.
